Underpinning to house and garage
Morcon were contracted by the Gelder Group to carry out a third phase of underpinning to a property in Hulland that has suffered settlement of filled ground leading to damage to the house and garage.
We pre-drilled through the filled ground to ensure that the driven piles were able to found in to virgin strata.
We hand excavated all areas to allow for the installation of the reinforced beams and cantilever blocks.
Once the concrete was cast and cured, the areas were reinstated and landscaped by the principal contractor.
Project completed on time and in budget.
